311 Service Requests, Ongoing Road Clearing Efforts, and Traffic Light Outages
As of 10:49am, crews from various city agencies – with support from crews from the City of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County – are continuing to respond to hundreds of service requests including more than 200 downed trees that remain on our streets and more than 80 traffic light disruptions.
Crews worked through the night and are continuing to work removing debris. Since we are prioritizing clearing roads, crews may leave behind tree debris once roadways are clear. We will go back to clear the remainder of debris next week.
Traffic Enforcement Officers (TEOs) and Baltimore Police Department (BPD) officers are being deployed to critical intersections with signal disruptions as we work to get all signals fully operational.
Residents are encouraged to continue reporting downed trees, traffic light outages, or any other storm-related service requests by calling 311 or by using the 311 app to submit them.
BGE Outage Updates
As of 11:03 a.m. on August 4, 2024, BGE reported 604 outages impacting 20,134 customers in Baltimore City. BGE crews are actively responding to weather-related power outages.

BGE crews work as safely and quickly as possible to restore power. City agencies have been in contact with BGE to help coordinate efforts.
