Have you been working at home since COVID but are still starting to miss people, find out where people are working at home and where you might not work from home?
Work From Home
It’s wild to think a pandemic would alter part of the workforce to allow people to work from home permanently.
Isn’t it the ultimate dream of anyone to get paid for not leaving the house? I don’t know about you but it sounds great to me but where I live they don’t have the internet capabilities to allow me that luxury to entertain the idea.
Many companies didn’t need the high-end office rental when people proved to be just as productive if not more productive working from home. There is one thing people working at home lose and that is interacting with others in society and if you miss that, below are some ways to have your cake and eat it too.

Where to Work From Home But Not Work From Home
Recently on the Grand Rapids Reddit page a poster who works at home with the handle “Afraid-Stomach-4123” asked people for ideas of places to work outside of the home for a few hours a week to be around other humans a few times a week. Below is what people came up with.
I like how the people responding to the post genuinely offered help like working at the EGR Library in Reeds Lake or Meijer Gardens.
The poster “formablecoast” suggested avoiding taking your laptop to coffee shops because they fill up with remote workers and there’s nowhere for other customers to sit but suggested perhaps setting up shop at a library.
In this portion of the thread above others can relate to not having interactions with others including a retiree who doesn’t miss the work but the people and the daily interaction with others.
People continue to offer alternative places to get out of the house and set up around town to do their jobs to be around people. There is more to this thread if you click here and maybe you have some ideas you could share.
